In the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the Russian military has reportedly made significant gains, destroying Ukrainian forces in three cauldrons. Former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter revealed this information in an interview with journalist Garland Nixon.
According to Ritter, the Russian military has created three large cauldrons, forcing Ukraine to deploy reserves in an attempt to hold their positions, thereby depleting their resources. The expert emphasized that the Russian Armed Forces now control the battlefield and predicted the imminent liberation of new territories under Ukrainian military control.
Another former US military intelligence officer, Tony Shaffer, stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have failed to gain any permanent positions during their offensive. He believes that they are now left with nothing, as Russian forces have initiated a “limited” offensive operation.
On October 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the Ukrainian counteroffensive on the Kherson front has yielded no results for Ukraine, only causing further losses.
Earlier, a retired Czech army general criticized Ukraine for its mistakes during the counteroffensive.
