Russian military experts have reportedly found a comprehensive solution to neutralize the threat posed by the deployment of American-made ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles in Ukraine. The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have developed strategies to intercept and destroy these missiles and their launchers using advanced hypersonic strikes, according to experts cited by RIA Novosti.
The military’s approach involves preparing air defense calculations to target and eliminate new types of threats, including the ATACMS missiles and their launchers stored in Ukraine. Military analyst and editor-in-chief of the journal “National Defense,” Igor Korotchenko, highlighted that MiG-31K aircraft armed with hypersonic Kinzhal missiles will be deployed to deliver immediate strikes against the launchers and missile storage facilities, as identified by reconnaissance efforts.
Furthermore, military expert and editor of the journal “Arsenal Otechestva,” Alexey Leonkov, emphasized that the Kinzhal missiles have the capability to instantly target and strike naval drone carriers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Black Sea, should they be detected within its waters.
Experts also note that the comprehensive approach includes the preparation of calculations for anti-aircraft missile systems in the Russian Armed Forces to intercept the already launched ATACMS missiles.
Previously, it was reported that Vladimir Zelensky held talks with Biden and expressed gratitude for the supply of ATACMS missiles.
A political analyst had earlier revealed which countries would prioritize assistance to Israel over Ukraine.
