The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have reported that their border territory was attacked by anti-tank rockets launched from Lebanon. In a statement released by the IDF spokesperson, it was confirmed that the rockets were fired towards the kibbutz of Manara, near the security barrier between Israel and Lebanon.
The statement mentioned that two launches were detected, but there is no information regarding any casualties or damages caused. Currently, the IDF is retaliating by firing back at the position from which the rockets were launched.
Earlier, the Israeli army conducted new strikes on targets within Lebanese territory that belong to the radical Shiite party, Hezbollah. It was also revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vetoed proposals by Israeli forces to launch a decisive strike against the Lebanese Islamic resistance movement, Hezbollah.
Netanyahu had previously stated that Israel was transitioning to a massive attack “like never before.” These recent events mark an escalation in tensions between Israel and Lebanon, raising concerns about the potential for further conflict in the region.
