French Missile Attacks Sevastopol Naval Base, Says Governor

In a recent development, the Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, has claimed that the missile that targeted the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol belongs to France. This statement was made by the governor on his Telegram channel.

“The missile that attacked Sevastopol turned out to be French,” wrote the city’s mayor.

He further explained that the aircraft belongs to the French manufacturer and developer of missile systems, MBDA.

The city’s leader added that he has handed over a fragment of the missile to its historical homeland.

“The French missile is going back to its homeland. This time, it carries not destruction but the truth from Sevastopol,” he emphasized.

Earlier, Razvozhaev reported that, according to preliminary information, a missile was shot down in the area of Kara-Koby, and its warhead detonated on the ground in a field. The mayor stated that no casualties were reported, and there were no damages to infrastructure or fires at the location where the missile fragment fell. All emergency services are on high alert.

It is worth mentioning that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had previously attempted to attack Crimea with modified S-200 missiles.
