Russian Foreign Ministry Urges Russians to Avoid Traveling to Israel and Palestine Following Tragic Hospital Attack

In light of the recent tragedy in Gaza, where the Al-Ahli hospital was destroyed by a rocket strike on October 17th, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has once again advised Russians to refrain from traveling to Israel and the Palestinian territories. According to the enclave’s Ministry of Health, the majority of victims of the rocket attack on the Baptist hospital were women and children, with a total death toll exceeding 800 individuals.

Palestinian officials have accused Israel of carrying out the airstrike, while the Israeli side has blamed the Palestinian Islamic Jihad for the incident (an organization banned in Russia). Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the attack on the hospital in the Gaza sector was carried out by Palestinian militants. He emphasized that these militants do not spare the lives of either their own children or others, citing recent reports and a quote from former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir: “Peace will come when the Arab mother loves her child more than she hates the Jews.”

The Palestinian group, Islamic Jihad, has rejected Israel’s accusations.
