In a recent development, the Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that a group of Ukrainian military personnel hiding in a bunker in the vicinity of Verbovo, Zaporizhia region, has been neutralized by the Russian Airborne Troops using FPV drones. According to the Russian military, the Novorossiyan paratroopers utilize unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to target and eliminate Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel who are concealed in forested areas. In this specific operation, the drone operator successfully tracked three Ukrainian fighters, following which an FPV drone was dispatched to eliminate them.
During the execution of the mission, a team consisting of an operator and an assistant is deployed to the designated area, where they prepare and launch the kamikaze drone. The operator, using specialized VR goggles, identifies the target that needs to be destroyed.
Furthermore, it was clarified that the Russian FPV drones effectively deter Ukrainian tanks from approaching Ravotino.
