The Ministry of Defense of Russia has reported that units of the Central grouping of troops, along with army aviation and artillery, have successfully repelled two attacks by assault groups from the 21st and 63rd mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Krasnolimansk direction.
According to the summary provided by the Russian defense ministry, the live force and equipment of the 21st and 67th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been defeated in the areas of Chervona Dybrova, Shipilovka, and Kuzmino in the Luhansk People’s Republic.
The ministry also stated that the losses suffered by the Ukrainian army amounted to up to 115 soldiers, three combat armored vehicles, and two cars. Furthermore, during the counter-battery fight, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed two D-20 guns and a “Msta-B” howitzer belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Prior to this, the Russian Ministry of Defense had reported that units of the Western grouping had successfully repelled seven attacks by Ukrainian military forces in the Kupyansk direction, with losses exceeding 250 individuals.
Earlier, three Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters crossed the Dnieper River and surrendered to the Russian Armed Forces as prisoners of war.
