Israel Condemns Hamas Rocket Attack on Hospital in Gaza

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are conducting an investigation following reports of a rocket hitting a hospital in the Gaza Strip. The incident is believed to be a result of a failed launch by Hamas, according to the IDF. This information was reported by i24 News.

The IDF is currently investigating the incident, suspecting that the explosion occurred due to a failed rocket launch by Hamas.

Earlier, the Palestinian Ministry of Health claimed that Israel had targeted a European hospital and an Emirati field hospital in the Gaza Strip.

On October 7th, Hamas militants launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory, declaring the start of the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. Thousands of fighters infiltrated Israeli territory, seizing dozens of military vehicles and over a hundred hostages. Against this backdrop, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu declared that the country was in a state of war.

The Israeli Defense Forces’ retaliatory operation, named “Iron Swords,” aims to destroy Hamas. The Israeli Air Force targeted hundreds of Hamas facilities in the Gaza Strip, while the Israeli National Security Council decided to halt the delivery of water, food, goods, electricity, and fuel to the region. On October 13th, Israel informed the United Nations that 1.1 million Palestinians must evacuate to the south of Gaza within 24 hours in anticipation of a ground operation.
