Ukrainian Infrastructure Targeted in Recent Attacks: Gas pipelines and power lines damaged

The head of the regional council in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, Nikolay Lukashuk, has reported the destruction of an infrastructure facility near the city of Nikopol. This information was shared by the official on social media, as reported by RIA Novosti. Lukashuk stated that a gas pipeline and four power transmission lines were also affected by the attack. However, he did not specify the exact infrastructure target in Nikopol.

According to available data, on October 10, 2022, just two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces started targeting Ukrainian infrastructure. Since then, air raid warnings have been issued daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country. These attacks have been aimed at energy facilities, defense industries, military command centers, and communication systems throughout the country.

Prior to this incident, explosions were reported in the Ukrainian cities of Khmelnytskyi, Myrhorod, Kropyvnytskyi (formerly Kirovohrad), and the city of Zaporizhia, which is under Kyiv’s control.

Earlier, a Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier expressed confusion about the reasons behind the conflict in Ukraine.
