Russian Forces Launch Air Strikes on Ukrainian Army Positions

Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers from the Western Military District carried out strikes on temporary deployment points and support positions of four Ukrainian army brigades. This was revealed by Sergei Zybinsky, the chief spokesperson for the military group, to TASS. According to the officer, the combat aircraft crews from the Western Military District conducted strikes on temporary deployment points and support positions of three mechanized and airborne assault brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in the Kupyansk direction. In addition, Russian attack helicopters Ka-52, Mi-28, and operational-tactical aircraft launched missile and bomb strikes on concentrations of personnel, armaments, and military equipment of two mechanized brigades and territorial defense units of the UAF. Earlier, Vadim Astafyev, the chief spokesperson for the Russian military group in the South, reported that the Russian military had repelled five attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in Orehovo-Vasilivka, Kleshcheivka, and Dubovo-Vasilivka in the Artemivsk district of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). Previously, a proposal was made in the State Duma to organize an exhibition of NATO’s destroyed equipment.
