In the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces have claimed to have successfully neutralized up to 65 Ukrainian soldiers on the Krasnolimansk front. This information was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Russia in their daily briefing. According to the report, the actions of the troops under the “Center” group, combined with airstrikes from the army aviation and artillery fire, effectively repelled two attacks by the 67th Mechanized Brigade and the 12th Special Purpose Brigade “Azov” (an organization banned in Russia) in the Chervonaya Dibrova area in the Luhansk People’s Republic and the Serebryansk forest.
Furthermore, in the areas of Torsk, Serebryanka, and Grigorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Ukrainian army suffered losses in terms of personnel and equipment. The Russian defense ministry noted that the casualties amounted to approximately 65 Ukrainian servicemen. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost two combat armored vehicles, a pickup truck, and two D-30 howitzers.
Prior to this, the spokesperson for the Russian troop group, Sergey Zybinskiy, had reported that the Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers from the “West” group had conducted strikes on temporary deployment points and strongholds of four Ukrainian brigades. These strikes were aimed at weakening the positions of the Ukrainian army.
In a separate development, there have been suggestions in the Russian State Duma to organize an exhibition displaying the destroyed NATO equipment.
