Hamas Official Denies Reports of Ceasefire with Israel

A high-ranking member of the Hamas movement, Ismail Haniyeh, has refuted claims of a ceasefire agreement with Israel, contradicting reports by certain media outlets. In a statement released by a Telegram channel affiliated with the movement, Haniyeh urged the public not to rely on any sources other than the official resistance and the Government Actions Committee in Gaza.

This denial comes after Reuters, citing the administration of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, reported that the claims of a humanitarian ceasefire between Israel and the Gaza Strip for the evacuation of foreigners from Palestinian territory were untrue.

Within the Gaza Strip, there are several hundred hostages, including Israeli citizens and citizens of other countries. Earlier, Prime Minister Netanyahu outlined Israel’s objectives in its war against Hamas.
