CEO Criticizes Harvard Students for Supporting Terrorism and Calls for Accountability

In a recent interview on “Cavuto: Live,” EasyHealth CEO David Duel spoke out about his LinkedIn account allegedly being suspended for criticizing pro-Palestine Harvard students. Duel shared his personal connection to the Israel-Palestine conflict and expressed support for billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman’s calls not to hire those Ivy League candidates associated with the controversial Harvard letter blaming Hamas’ terror attacks solely on Israel.

Duel stated, “I’m not surprised my account was taken down for sharing a list of students who were advocating for the death and destruction of the Jewish people.” He emphasized the need to distinguish between political divisions and the issue of terrorism, highlighting Hamas’ charter that calls for the extermination of Jews. He further criticized what he perceived as hypocrisy and a lack of moral clarity on campuses, suggesting that this may stem from conscious or subconscious antisemitism.

The controversy surrounding the letter led to the removal of the names of the signing organizations. The version published on Google Docs clarified that it was co-authored by a coalition of Palestine solidarity groups at Harvard, with the names concealed for student safety. Duel argued for the importance of releasing the students’ names, drawing on his family’s experience fleeing Iran during the Islamic Revolution and the value he places on freedoms and securities.

Duel expressed concern about the limitations on free speech in university campuses, contrasting the treatment of different ideological groups. He claimed that elite institutions would not allow white nationalists to hold rallies but were permitting calls for protests supporting the slaughter and genocide of the Jewish people. Duel also addressed the notion of accountability, encouraging the students to publicly renounce their support for terrorism and Jew hatred.

Despite anticipating financial and personal consequences, Duel felt compelled to speak up, emphasizing the potential risks of inaction. He revealed that he had already received multiple threats and hate messages but believed that history has shown the importance of taking a stand.

The article concluded by mentioning that FOX Business’ Eric Revell contributed to the report.
