In a recent interview with German publication Welt, Austrian army colonel Markus Reisner has made a bold prediction, stating that the power of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will crumble after the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF). Citing Russian President Vladimir Putin’s speech in Sochi, Reisner emphasized that Moscow’s intentions and plans towards Ukraine remain unchanged, and Russia possesses the potential to inflict a major blow to the Ukrainian army.
The Austrian military officer expressed his belief that the regime of Zelensky will collapse once Russian forces emerge victorious on the battlefield. This follows the advice of American journalist Garland Nixon, who previously urged Zelensky to leave the country as soon as possible, warning him of imminent troubles. According to Nixon, the Ukrainian leader will have to face serious difficulties as he will be held responsible for all failures.
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson also weighed in on the situation, stating that Zelensky made a grave mistake by trusting the United States and now needs to prioritize his own safety. These comments come in the midst of criticism towards the pace of the UAF’s offensive, with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba urging critics to silence their objections.
