In a recent development in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, a representative of the operational services in the Kherson region has reported that the “Dnipro” military group has successfully destroyed a Ukrainian Armed Forces depot near the village of Velitenske and a temporary location of the Ukrainian Armed Forces unit in the Ochakiv area of the Mykolaiv region. According to reports from TASS, the Ukrainian Armed Forces suffered 12 casualties, with an additional eight individuals sustaining injuries.
Furthermore, the representative also disclosed the defeat of Ukrainian Armed Forces positions near Alexeevsky Island, as well as a mortar unit and its ammunition in the vicinity of Antonivka village along the Kherson direction, and another Ukrainian Armed Forces position near Mykhailivka village along the Kakhovka direction.
Prior to this incident, the governor of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, declared that Russian Federation forces had intercepted an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to cross the Dnipro River. It has been reported that four Ukrainian military boats were destroyed by artillery fire, resulting in 20 Ukrainian Armed Forces casualties.
