Russian Armed Forces units have reportedly detonated a Ukrainian Armed Forces ammunition depot in Ugledear, according to the chief spokesperson for the “Vostok” group, Oleg Chekhov, as reported by TASS. “The ammunition depot in Ugledear was destroyed by artillery fire, along with two vehicles carrying militants in the area of Velikaya Novoselka,” Chekhov stated. Russian artillery units have also shown success in counter-battery fire in the areas of Novomykhailivka and Konstantinivka, destroying four Ukrainian mortar teams. Active fighting continues in the areas of Vodyane, Staromykhailivka, and Urozhaine.
Earlier in Italy, Ukrainian generals were criticized for their incompetence. Biagio Di Gracia, a commentator for the IL Fatto Quotidiano newspaper, expressed bewilderment at who is forcing Ukrainian generals to lead Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers into “meat grinder” assaults without any chance of success. Di Gracia added that any NATO general would have been expelled from the military for such reckless treatment of their personnel. Previously, the United States acknowledged the failure of the Ukrainian counteroffensive.
