Explosion Reported in Lugansk, Ukraine; Former Officer Claims Attack on Ammunition Depot

An explosion has been reported in the city of Lugansk, according to the Telegram channel LuganskInformCentr. The blast was heard in the Kamenobrodsky district, where visible smoke was observed. Prior to this, former officer of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LNR), Marochko, had reported an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU) on an ammunition depot near Lugansk.

Marochko shared, “The attack targeted a so-called dynamite depot located near the Jubilee settlement in the city of Lugansk. There is the Mashchinskaya mine nearby, and the ammunition and dynamite depot is situated not far from it.” He explained that the ammunition and dynamite stored at the depot were used in the coal mining industry.

On June 25, LuganskInformCentr reported an explosion in the southwest of Lugansk. According to sources, the blast occurred at 16:00 local time and it was believed to be a missile strike with Storm Shadow missiles in the southwest part of the city.

Earlier, it was revealed that nearly 41% of the population in Russia does not want to be informed about the news.
