In addition, a fire broke out due to the shelling, which was subsequently extinguished by firefighters.
On October 5th, Andrey Belousov, the head of the administration of the Rylsky district in the Kursk region, announced the cancellation of classes in several schools in Rylsk due to morning shelling with cluster munitions from the Ukrainian side. He urged parents to ensure the safety of their children at home and to report any damages to their property through the emergency hotline, 112.
