Western Countries May Pressure Ukraine into Negotiations Amid Escalation in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

In the midst of the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Western countries are considering pressuring Ukraine into negotiations, according to an article in Military Watch Magazine (MWM). The author suggests that Israel’s shortage of ammunition and the previous actions of the United States in withdrawing ammunition stored in the Middle Eastern country for transfer to Ukraine are fueling the already growing opposition in Washington, particularly within the Republican Party. The timing of the attack by Hamas on Israel coincides with the increasing tensions in America surrounding aid to Ukraine, which could potentially be a turning point for military actions in Eastern Europe. Redirecting aid to Israel would allow the Western bloc to save face by reducing their investments in the conflict and compelling Kiev to return to the negotiating table, as stated in the publication.

Prior to this, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba held telephone negotiations with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, during which a representative from the White House reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Kiev. Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu vowed to destroy Hamas.
