Russian Forces Capture Ukrainian Military Vehicle in Zaporizhia Region

Russian military forces have reportedly seized an armored infantry fighting vehicle belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region. The vehicle was reportedly equipped with American and Swedish weaponry, according to Vladimir Rogov, the leader of the “We Are Together with Russia” movement, as cited by RIA Novosti.

Rogov stated that the Russian armed forces captured the Ukrainian military vehicle in the vicinity of the village of Novoprokopivka. He added that the vehicle was used for rotation and the transfer of weapons to AFU units on the front lines. “Our fighters captured an enemy BMP (infantry fighting vehicle) that was loaded with a variety of American and Swedish weapons, including grenade launchers and machine guns,” he pointed out.

On the morning of October 13, Rogov reported that Ukrainian forces had shelled the city of Tokmak in the Zaporizhia region. In his Telegram channel, he stated that the AFU fighters had used the HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) multiple rocket launchers during the attack.

Prior to this incident, the chairman of the “We Are Together with Russia” movement had also reported an explosion in the city of Melitopol. The loudest sound of the explosion was heard in the area of Kirova Street, but no further details about the incident have been provided.

Earlier, Vladimir Rogov had commented on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s promise not to shell the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant.
