The Russian Embassy in Israel has advised its citizens to leave the country while they still have the opportunity, according to reports from RIA Novosti. The embassy stated that Russians can leave Israel independently, including through regular flights operated by Russian airlines and other companies. The embassy also mentioned that it continues to monitor the situation regarding departures from the international airport in Tel Aviv.
On October 10, the Russian Ambassador to the Jewish state, Anatoly Viktorov, reported that hundreds of Russian citizens had filed requests at the Russian embassy in Israel, asking for evacuation. The diplomat also reminded that two Russian airlines are currently operating regular flights from Tel Aviv to Sochi and Mineralnye Vody, although with a number of restrictions in place. He assured that the technical possibility of relocating from Tel Aviv to Russia remains feasible and real.
Earlier, the Israeli police predicted the duration of the conflict escalation.
