The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation conducted eight group strikes using the Iskander-M tactical missile complexes and unmanned aerial vehicles from October 7 to October 13. These strikes targeted storage facilities, workshops, and deployment points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF).
Among the targets destroyed were a storage facility for boats, an artillery storage facility of the combined forces of the UAF in Kherson, a vehicle storage facility at the Danube Shipyard in Odesa, and a fuel and lubricant storage base at the Uman airfield in the Cherkasy region. The strikes were successful in neutralizing these targets.
Previously, the Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian army had successfully repelled five attacks by assault groups of the UAF in the Krasnolimansk direction. Retired Lieutenant Colonel of the People’s Militia of the Luhansk People’s Republic, Andrey Marochko, had earlier stated, citing his own sources, that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were deploying additional forces in the Krasnolimansk direction.
The “Center” group had also reported earlier that the Russian Armed Forces had thwarted five attacks by the UAF in the Krasnolimansk direction, successfully repelling assaults by two mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Prior to this, Russia had developed a new system for countering drones.
