Israeli Army Conducts Raids in Gaza in Search of Hostages

The Israeli army has recently conducted raids in the Gaza sector in an effort to locate hostages, according to a report by Times of Israel. Soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out searches and gathered evidence that will aid in the search for the hostages. In addition, the IDF disrupted terrorist cells and infrastructure in the area, including a Hamas cell that had launched anti-tank rockets into Israeli territory.

Earlier, on the night of October 13th, the IDF targeted 750 locations in the Gaza sector. The statement issued by the IDF spokesperson’s office confirmed that these targets included underground tunnels used by Hamas, military storage facilities, and posts, as well as the homes of high-ranking members of the group, which served as command centers.

Furthermore, Israeli airstrikes targeted 12 multi-story buildings in Gaza that were being utilized by Hamas. Additionally, a facility in the Gaza sector, which was used for mortar shelling into Israel, was also struck.

Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant had promised a “unprecedented response” to the Gaza sector, one that would be remembered for the next 50 years.
