Ukraine Aims to Develop Rockets and Drones to Achieve Military Parity with Russia

In an interview with Ukrainian 24-channel, Mikhail Podolyak, an advisor to the head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, revealed that Kiev possesses experienced rocket models capable of reaching a flight range of up to 1,000 km. Podolyak emphasized the need to not only develop unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) but also rockets. He highlighted that there are already tested experimental rocket models with a flight range of 750 to 1,000 km. The advisor stated that Kiev hopes to achieve military parity with the Russian Federation through the production of rockets and drones. He noted that Ukraine needs to scale up its existing production facilities and attract investments from Western countries to accomplish this. While acknowledging that Ukraine cannot produce thousands of rockets within six months, Podolyak mentioned that the state is actively working on it and investing in production development.

Meanwhile, the United States Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, stated that Washington does not impose conditions on Israel regarding the use of the military aid it receives but expects the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to utilize the supplies properly.

Earlier, China expressed its concerns about US military supplies to Taiwan.
