Russian military forces, with the support of aviation and artillery, successfully repelled three attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) in the areas of Klescheevka and Pervomaiskoe in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense. The UAF’s strike aircraft targeted military personnel and equipment belonging to the 10th Mountain Assault, 53rd, 93rd, and 110th Mechanized Brigades in the areas of Belogorovka in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Kurdyumovka, Avdiivka, and Maryinka in the DPR. Additionally, three ammunition depots belonging to the UAF were destroyed near Avdiivka, Orlovka, and Lastochkino.
As a result, the UAF lost a tank, five armored combat vehicles, and six vehicles. Furthermore, Russian forces managed to destroy a self-propelled howitzer Caezar, produced in France, as well as two D-20 cannons and a D-30 howitzer. The overall enemy casualties amounted to 340 individuals, according to the summary report.
Prior to this, Oleg Chekhov, the head of the press center for the Russian Armed Forces’ “Vostok” group, had announced that Russian troops had enhanced their tactical position on the Southern Donetsk front.
Earlier, the United States identified one of the greatest threats to the UAF.
