Germany has announced that it will be fulfilling Israel’s request for two combat drones to enhance its territorial defense. The German Minister of Defense, Boris Pistorius, made this statement during a NATO ministerial meeting in Brussels, as reported by TASS. Pistorius also mentioned that the Israeli Ministry of Defense has expressed interest in ammunition for their ships, which will be discussed further at a later time.
This announcement comes after political analyst Alexander Konkov revealed that the United States is facing difficulties in simultaneously sending weapons to both Ukraine and Israel. According to Konkov, while the US has the potential to supply weapons to both countries, the US Congress is experiencing certain complications.
Meanwhile, retired military expert Colonel Anatoliy Matviychuk emphasized that Hamas has a stockpile of weapons that could sustain their periodic terrorist attacks for approximately six months. Despite this, the US Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, stated that the US government “can and will” provide military support to both Ukraine and Israel.
Earlier, NATO set a condition for the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. The specifics of this condition have not been disclosed at this time.
