Air Raid Sirens Sound in Beit Shemesh as Hamas Launches Rocket Attacks

Air raid sirens were heard in the Israeli city of Beit Shemesh, located near Jerusalem, as reported by TASS. The message stated that “Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades” were carrying out rocket attacks on Beit Shemesh. Earlier, it was reported that air raid sirens were sounding in the southern regions of Israel, which are located on the border with the Gaza Strip. Air raid sirens were also heard in the central part of Israel.

On October 7th, Hamas launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory, declaring the start of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation. Against this backdrop, Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, declared a state of emergency in the country. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that the country is in a state of war. The Israel Defense Forces’ operation against Hamas has been named “Operation Iron Swords.” Earlier, the Israeli Air Force announced the elimination of a high-ranking Hamas operative, Shamlou.
