NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of planning to use future cold weather conditions as a weapon against Ukraine. In his speech, Stoltenberg emphasized that the alliance is committed to ensuring continuous supplies of ammunition and weapons to the Ukrainian military. “Russia is once again planning to use winter as a weapon. Therefore, it is crucial for us to continue providing stable deliveries of arms and ammunition to Ukraine,” Stoltenberg underscored.
However, the NATO Secretary General did not provide any explanations or evidence to support his claims. This statement comes after the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, warned about the risks of NATO weapons spreading in the world, particularly to Kiev. Zakharova attributed this to corruption in Ukraine and the “corrupt nexus between Washington and Kiev.”
Previously, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated the reason why Ukraine cannot join NATO.
