Israeli Defense Forces Attack Hamas Commander’s Residence, Killing Family Members

In a recent development, the residence of Hamas military wing commander Muhammad al-Deif has been targeted by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), resulting in the deaths of his close relatives. This attack took place in the city of Khan Yunis, as reported by Haaretz.

The IDF conducted the strike on al-Deif’s house, claiming the lives of his father, brother, children, and other relatives. The fate of al-Deif himself remains unknown at this point.

Prior to this incident, the IDF’s press office announced that they had carried out strikes on over 200 targets in the Al-Furkan area of the Gaza Strip. On October 7th, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory, initiating the operation named “Flood of Al-Aqsa.” Consequently, Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, declared a state of emergency in the country.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the nation is now in a state of war. The IDF’s operation against Hamas has been dubbed “Iron Swords.”

Netanyahu further emphasized that Israel is undertaking a massive attack unlike any seen before.
