The spokesperson for the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lior Ben-Dor, has stated to RIA Novosti that the country is prepared for a prolonged war, both economically and politically. “Israeli citizens understand that their country is facing a long war. We are willing to pay any price to ensure a secure future for Israel,” said the representative of the Israeli MFA.
Ben-Dor noted that many countries, especially the United States, support Israel. “The United States is our close ally, but many other nations also stand in solidarity with us and support our struggle. They understand that Israel has the right to self-defense,” emphasized the ministry spokesperson.
He stressed that Israel is “determined to continue the war until all goals are achieved.” Prior to this, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs referred to Israel’s actions against the Palestinian civilian population in the Gaza Strip as genocide, highlighting that it “unfolds in the most gruesome forms every day.”
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced that they will no longer warn Gaza’s civilians about impending airstrikes on their homes. Previously, messages were sent to local residents’ phones, and afterwards, a dummy bomb, without explosives, was dropped on the designated target for destruction.
Earlier, Prime Minister Netanyahu stated the objectives of Israel in the war against Hamas.
