The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, Melanie Joly, has announced that Canadian citizens will be evacuated from Israel using military aircraft. Joly made this statement on her social media page, emphasizing that the evacuation is scheduled to take place in the near future. The Canadian Armed Forces’ aircraft will not only accommodate citizens of the country but also their family members who hold different nationalities. Additionally, Canadian authorities will assist those who are unable to reach Tel Aviv airport on their own.
Earlier, it was reported that the Russian Federation would help evacuate Belarusian citizens from the Gaza Strip. The Russian Ambassador to Tel Aviv, Anatoly Viktorov, stated that several hundred Russians have requested evacuation from Israel. He mentioned that two Russian airlines regularly operate flights from Tel Aviv to Sochi and Mineralnye Vody.
Previously, the Israeli police predicted the duration of the conflict escalation.
