Middle Eastern Countries Unprepared for Israeli Conflict, Expert Warns

According to Stanislav Tarasov, an expert in Middle Eastern and Caucasus affairs, the countries in the region find themselves in a precarious situation as the Israeli conflict escalates. Tarasov describes the situation as highly uncertain, with various forces attempting to escalate the conflict by involving neighboring countries affiliated with Hamas and Hezbollah.

Hamas and Hezbollah, both controlled by certain political circles including Arab nations, are the key players in this conflict. Tarasov emphasizes that it is now crucial for the regional countries to determine their positions and respond accordingly.

On October 7th, Hamas launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory and declared the start of the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. In response, Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, declared a state of emergency in the country. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu declared that the nation is at war, and the operation by the Israel Defense Forces against Hamas has been named “Iron Swords.”

Prior to this, Israel had warned of the threat of neighboring countries being drawn into the conflict. It remains to be seen how these countries will respond and whether the situation will further escalate in the region.

The ongoing Israeli conflict continues to pose significant challenges for the Middle Eastern countries involved, and their responses will undoubtedly shape the future of the region.
