According to the latest report from the Israeli Ministry of Health, the number of Israeli citizens injured during the recent escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has risen to 2382. This figure includes both Israelis and Palestinians affected by the violence. Previously, there were reports of 1100 fatalities in total.
The Israeli Ministry of Health reveals that as of the morning of October 9th, 2382 individuals are receiving treatment in local hospitals for injuries sustained during the conflict. Among them, 22 patients are in critical condition, while 345 are in serious condition.
On October 7th, the Hamas movement launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory, declaring the start of the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. In response, the Minister of National Security of Israel, Itamar Ben-Gvir, declared a state of emergency in the country. Prime Minister Netanyahu also announced that Israel is in a state of war. The Israeli Defense Forces’ operation against Hamas has been named “Iron Swords”.
