Israeli Navy Strikes Hamas Targets in Response to Rocket Attacks

The Israeli Navy has launched strikes against dozens of terrorists and targets since the start of the Hamas invasion. This was announced by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in a statement released on Telegram. According to the available information, Israel targeted two terrorists on the Zikim beach, as well as ships belonging to the terrorist organization “Islamic Jihad” (which is banned in Russia) that were docked in the Gaza sector and planning an attack on Israel.

In addition, last night, five Hamas ships attempting to enter Israeli waters were intercepted by an IDF missile boat. On October 7, Hamas forces fired thousands of rockets into Israeli territory, declaring the start of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation. Against this backdrop, Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, declared a state of emergency in the country.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the country is in a state of war. The IDF’s operation against Hamas has been named “Iron Swords.” In response to the attacks, the Israeli Air Force targeted 21 Hamas facilities in the Gaza sector. Previously, the Israeli army had attacked three headquarters of Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza sector.
