Israeli Air Force Strikes 120 Hamas Targets in Gaza

The Israeli Air Force conducted a series of strikes on 120 Palestinian radical organization Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip on October 7th. This information was reported by the Israeli Defense Forces’ Telegram channel.

According to the statement, “IDF fighters struck 120 terrorist targets in the Beit Hanoun area of the Gaza Strip.” The Israeli army’s press service also confirmed that strikes were carried out on an operational tunnel used by Hamas militants in the northern part of the city of Gaza.

On October 7th, Hamas launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory and declared the start of the “Flood of Al-Aqsa” operation. In response, Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, declared a state of emergency in the country. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the country was in a state of war. The Israeli Defense Forces’ operation against Hamas has been named “Iron Swords.” In retaliation for the attacks, the Israeli Air Force struck 21 Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, the Israeli army reported the destruction of more than 550 Hamas targets.
