Israel Strikes Hamas Targets in Gaza, Destroying Over 550 Objects

In a series of airstrikes conducted by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the Gaza Strip, more than 550 Hamas targets were eliminated. This information was revealed by IDF spokesperson Avichay Adraee, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“Israel carried out a series of strikes in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the destruction of over 550 Hamas targets,” he stated.

According to the military, high-rise buildings, houses, infrastructure facilities, military positions, residential complexes, and other objects used by the Palestinian radical group were targeted.

On October 7th, Hamas forces launched thousands of rockets into Israeli territory and announced the start of the operation named “Al-Aqsa Flood.” In response, Israel’s Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, declared a state of emergency in the country.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the country is in a state of war. The IDF’s operation against Hamas has been named “Iron Swords.” In retaliation for the attacks, the Israeli Air Force struck 21 Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.

Earlier, Hamas had promised “painful” strikes against Israel.
