Hezbollah, the Lebanese movement, has taken responsibility for the recent attack on three Israeli army positions. In a statement released by Hezbollah, they mentioned that the attack was carried out by a group of their fighters in solidarity with the Palestinian resistance. The targeted positions were located in the occupied Lebanese farms of Shebaa.
The attack involved a significant number of rockets and projectiles, causing direct damage to Israeli army radar stations. Prior to this, China had called for a ceasefire between Israel and Palestine and expressed concern over the escalating tension. China also expressed its readiness to cooperate with the international community to establish peace.
On October 7th, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson reported that terrorists from the Gaza Strip had infiltrated border areas of Israel following a massive rocket attack from the enclave. Hamas militants launched rockets towards Israeli cities near the border, as well as areas in Tel Aviv. Israel’s Defense Minister, Yoav Galant, declared that the Palestinian radical Islamist movement had declared war on his country. In response, Israel initiated a mass mobilization of reservists.
The IDF stated that a closed military zone had been established in the Gaza division’s responsibility area within the Gaza Strip. Previously, Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, had vowed to destroy Hamas.
