Russian Forces Carry Out Multiple Airstrikes on Ukrainian Military Positions

In a recent development, the spokesperson for the Western Group of Russian Armed Forces, Sergei Zybinsky, has announced that Russian attack helicopters Ka-52 and Mi-28, along with ground attack aircraft, have conducted 12 missile and bomb strikes on Ukrainian military positions in the Kupiansk direction. This news comes from the official Russian news agency TASS.

According to Zybinsky, heavy flamethrower systems of the Russian forces targeted Ukrainian platoon strongholds in the vicinity of Ivanovka. The attack helicopters and ground attack aircraft operated in the areas of Sinkovka, Ivanovka, Stelmakhovka, and Berestove.

Earlier, President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were struggling in their unsuccessful attempts at a counteroffensive, while the United States was hastening the Ukrainian authorities and threatening to withdraw support from the republic.

Lukashenko claimed that one of the signals was the adoption of a temporary budget without provisions for providing financial aid to Ukraine. He asserted that the Ukrainian military was trapped in their counteroffensive.

Previously, President Zelensky mentioned the challenges Ukraine faced in shifting the fighting to Russian territory.
