The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has announced that the armed formations of Nagorno-Karabakh have handed over 92 units of armored vehicles, approximately 66.1 million ammunition, over 7,000 firearms, anti-tank weapons, and other weaponry, in accordance with the agreed ceasefire. This information was reported in a bulletin published on the ministry’s website.
In addition, the Nagorno-Karabakh forces have surrendered 142 vehicles, 124 units of air defense systems, 112 units of field artillery, multiple rocket launch systems, and mortars, as well as a drone, as clarified by the Russian Ministry of Defense. The security of the storage facilities for weapons, equipment, and ammunition has been organized through joint Russian-Azerbaijani guard posts.
The Ministry also stated that one observation post in the Askeran district has been dismantled. The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, has mentioned that the duration of the Russian peacekeepers’ stay in Karabakh will be determined in consultation with Azerbaijan.
Earlier, discussions on imposing sanctions against Azerbaijan were held in the European Parliament due to the attack on Karabakh.
