Israel has initiated a military operation in the Gaza sector, named “Iron Swords,” in response to a series of rocket attacks. President Itzhak Herzog acknowledged that the country is going through a challenging time due to these attacks. He expressed full support for the people and the Israeli army on his social media page. Herzog urged the population to follow the instructions of the Rear Command and maintain calm.
Air sirens were heard early in the morning on October 7th in southern Israel, near the Gaza border, as well as in the Tel Aviv area, following rocket launches into Israeli territory. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), an unknown number of terrorists from Gaza infiltrated the border regions of Israel.
