Nearly 300 people have been affected by the recent shelling of Israel by militants from the Gaza Strip, according to The Times of Israel. It is worth noting that there is currently no information regarding any Russian citizens who may have been affected by the rocket attacks from Gaza into Israel. The Palestinian group Hamas has initiated a military operation against Israel, which they have named “Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.” Hamas militants claim to have captured over 35 Israeli soldiers and settlers. The Israeli army has reported that they have blocked roads and are carrying out strikes on targets in the Gaza Strip in response to the morning rocket attacks on Israeli territory. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have stated that an unknown number of terrorists from the Gaza Strip have infiltrated the border areas of Israel. Over 100 casualties have been reported so far. Earlier, Hamas had also entered another city in Israel.
