Explosions have occurred amidst an air alarm in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, according to local publication “Mirror of the Week.” The publication states, “Kharkiv… reports of explosions in the region.” At 10:04 in the Kharkiv region, an air alarm was declared, as evidenced by the online map of Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation. Official authorities have not yet made any statements regarding the explosions in the region.
In the morning of October 7, it was also reported that an object of port infrastructure was damaged in the Odessa region of Ukraine after overnight explosions.
Since October 10, 2022, two days after the attack on the Crimean Bridge, the Russian Armed Forces have begun striking Ukrainian infrastructure. Since then, air alarms have been declared daily in various regions of Ukraine, sometimes even across the entire country. As stated by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the attacks are targeting objects in the energy sector, defense industry, military command, and communication throughout the entire country.
