Chairman of the “We Stand with Russia” movement, Vladimir Rogov, has announced that heavy fighting is taking place in Orehovskoye, and Russian military forces have managed to repel three waves of Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) attacks. He made this statement on his Telegram channel.
“The UAF militants’ attempt to break through between Rabotino and Kopani last night ended with the destruction of enemy equipment and personnel, and the enemy infantry was dispersed by artillery fire. Since yesterday evening, the Nazis have launched three unsuccessful waves of attacks in an attempt to break through our defense,” Rogov said.
According to him, heavy fighting is still ongoing in the area.
Earlier, Rogov told RIA Novosti that Russian forces have achieved tactical success in the Orehovskoye and Vremevskoye directions. He noted that Russian military forces in the Orehovskoye direction were able to expand the “gray” zone, pushing the UAF back by 250-300 meters.
The head of the Zaporizhia public movement also added that in the Vremevskoye direction, north of the village of Priyutnoye, Russian forces have taken several enemy positions and a couple of strongholds.
Prior to this, Vladimir Rogov stated that American Abrams tanks in the Zaporizhia region “will burn like German Leopard and British Challenger 2 tanks.”
Earlier, a Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier expressed his lack of understanding of the reasons behind the conflict in Ukraine.
