The Russian Ministry of Defense has reported that four Ukrainian aircraft were destroyed by the fighter aviation of the Aerospace Forces (VKF) and air defense systems (ADS) over the course of a week. This information was shared by TASS.
According to the statement, “The fighter aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces and air defense systems shot down the Su-27, Su-25, and MiG-29 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force during the week.” It is noted that the aircraft were shot down in the Dnipropetrovsk region and in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
Additionally, a Su-25 attack aircraft was destroyed at the Dolgintsevo airfield in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The Russian Ministry of Defense also reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost over 1,745 military personnel and 18 tanks on the Donetsk direction during the week. According to the statement, the AFU continued to strengthen their defense in the areas of Avdiivka, Mariinka, and Toretsk of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). It is specified that Russian military forces repelled 34 attacks.
Earlier, Russian military forces repelled an attack by the AFU on the South Donetsk direction.
