Explosions Reported in Mirgorod, Ukraine

In the town of Mirgorod, located in the Poltava region of Ukraine, a series of explosions has occurred, as reported by the Ukrainian publication “Suspilne” (“Public”). According to the message shared by the publication on their Telegram channel, an explosion was heard in Mirgorod.

Prior to this incident, the press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, was asked to comment on a separate incident in the village of Groza, Kupyansk district, in the Kharkiv region. Peskov stated that Russian forces involved in special operations in Ukraine do not target civilian objects.

On September 25th, an explosion occurred in Berdyansk. Local authorities confirmed that no one was injured as a result of the explosion. This was the second explosion of the day, with the first one taking place near the city administration building.

Previously, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that Russian air defense systems had destroyed a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) off the coast of Crimea.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed the challenges faced by Ukraine in moving military operations onto Russian territory.
