Ukrainian Drone Crash Causes Fire in Russian Village

In a small village in the Kursk region of Russia, a Ukrainian drone crash resulted in a fire in a private home. Roman Starovoit, the head of the region, announced this incident in his Telegram channel. He stated that a shed and garage in a private house caught fire as a result of the Ukrainian UAV crash in the village of Gornal Sudzhansky district. The windows were also shattered. Fortunately, there were no casualties, and the fire has been extinguished. The governor assured that the residents will receive assistance in restoring their property.

On October 4th, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 31 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over three regions of Russia. The air defense system was activated over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk regions.

Prior to this incident, Starovoit reported that the Ukrainian side had shelled the villages of Kozino and Tetkino in the Glushkovsky district. As a result, a cell phone tower in Kozino was damaged, and a private house in Tetkino was also affected. Fortunately, no residents were injured.

Earlier in Russia, a new system for countering drones was developed.
