In a recent development, the Russian military group “Center” has launched attacks on a temporary deployment point and three command and observation posts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Alexander Savchuk, the chief spokesperson for the group, confirmed this information to RIA Novosti.
According to Savchuk, the strikes on the Ukrainian military positions in the areas of Torskoye and Serebryanka were carried out by bomber aircraft. He also revealed that Russian forces targeted the assault groups of the 63rd Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the 5th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine near the Torskoye area. The losses suffered by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this sector are estimated to be over 50 soldiers. Additionally, Savchuk stated that the Russian group also suppressed around 25 artillery units of the Ukrainian forces.
Prior to this incident, the Russian Ministry of Defense had reported the destruction of Ukrainian missile and artillery ammunition depots near Kupyansk and Lypcov in the Kharkiv region. This development adds to the growing concerns surrounding the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
