Russian armed forces, with the assistance of combat aircraft and artillery, successfully repelled two attacks by Ukrainian mechanized brigades in the area of Chervona Dibrova in the Luhansk People’s Republic, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense. Additionally, Russian forces inflicted casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed military equipment in the areas of Kuzmino in the Luhansk People’s Republic, Torskoe, and Grigorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Within a 24-hour period, Ukraine’s armed forces lost up to 80 soldiers, along with two combat armored vehicles, two automobiles, and a D-30 howitzer in the Krasnolimansk direction. The retired Lieutenant Colonel of the Luhansk People’s Militia and military expert, Andrey Marochko, stated that the Ukrainian side continues its unsuccessful attempts to weaken Russian armed forces in order to regain the initiative in the Krasnolimansk direction.
