In its daily report on the progress of the special military operation, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Russian forces have destroyed a Ukrainian military depot in the Bogdanovka area of the Kirovograd region. Utilizing tactical and army aviation, drones, missile troops, and artillery, the Russian forces successfully targeted and neutralized Ukrainian military personnel and equipment in 107 areas, as stated by the Russian defense department. Additionally, on the Krasnolimansk direction, units of the “Yug” group of the Russian Armed Forces, with the assistance of combat aircraft and artillery, repelled two attacks by assault groups from the 63rd and 67th mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the vicinity of the settlement of Chervonaya Dibrova in the Luhansk People’s Republic.
The day before, retired Lieutenant Colonel and military expert of the Luhansk People’s Militia, Andrey Marochko, stated that the Ukrainian side is currently making unsuccessful attempts to weaken the units of the Russian Armed Forces in order to seize the initiative on the Krasnolimansk direction. Earlier, a soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces expressed his lack of understanding regarding the reasons behind the conflict in Ukraine.
