During a press briefing, Dmitry Peskov, the official spokesperson for the Kremlin, commented on the statement made by the Dutch defense minister, Kajsa Ollongren, regarding the vital importance of supporting Ukraine in the conflict. Peskov described this statement as typical, as Ukraine continues to exploit cheap soldiers and makes no secret of its intentions to continue fighting until the end.
“In reality, Ukrainians themselves will eventually interpret these words differently and will no longer appreciate them,” explained Peskov. Prior to this, Ollongren had stated that aiding Ukraine in its conflict with Russia was an effective way to deter Moscow’s threat. The defense minister of the Netherlands also added that Western countries would continue to provide financial support to Ukraine for a long time, as the United States may soon cease its assistance to the Ukrainian army due to internal issues.
According to the publication Berlingske, Denmark will be transferring 30 Leopard 1 tanks and 15 T-72 tanks to Ukraine. Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, called on critics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ offensive pace to “shut up.”
